Shipping Policy

Whenever an order you place through ITC ships, you can expect a shipment confirmation email with all your tracking details. It will be sent to the email address registered in your account or used during the checkout process. 

If you don’t request insurance, delivery will be made in accordance with Interamerican Tech Corp.´s shipping policy (not insurance included). 

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items, shipping options and provider you choose. Shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. 

For domestic United States orders, items are typically shipped via UPS ground unless the customer specifies another type of shipping on their order form. All UPS charges will be added to the customer's invoice. If you find it necessary to expedite shipments, UPS has Red Label (overnight), Blue Label (2nd-day) and Orange Label (3 day). Services available at an extra cost. 

Please request charges for these services at the time you place your order. For customers in Alaska, Puerto Rico or Hawaii, most items can be shipped by USPS priority service. 

We are not responsible for packaging at delivery time - freight carriers are beyond our control. 

We require signature of delivery on all shipments with no exceptions. If you cannot be available to sign for delivery, you will need to re-schedule shipment. 

Shipping & Processing Orders placed before 3 PM (UTC/GMT-5) generally ship the same business day, subject to availability, inclement weather and holidays. Special order items and some items sent directly from our suppliers may take 24-48 business hours to ship. 

 

Order cancellations are accepted only by e-mail and confirmed by phone verified only when speaking to an authorized Interamerican Tech Corp sales representative. Interamerican Tech Corp will make every attempt to accommodate order changes after the order has been processed for shipping. However, order changes must be made by e-mail and confirmed by phone only and must be verified by an Interamerican Tech Corp sales Representative! Voice mail or e-mail changes to your order may not be accepted nor received in time to accommodate those changes. Orders already processed for shipping may not be available for changes due to pick up by the carrier of customer choice. In this case, changes to your order will not be accepted and may require an RMA. Should this be the case, return shipping will be at customer expense, regardless of refusal of acceptance of shipment by customer. Refusal of package shipment incurs return shipping charges which will be billed to customer upon receipt of refused package. 

Any shipping discrepancies must be reported within 7 days to Interamerican Tech Corp from the time the shipment was received. Failure to do so means acceptance of the shipment as received. 

Truck (Freight) Deliveries: On the day of delivery please be sure to have enough help, and the proper equipment on hand for the unloading of the merchandise. Truck drivers are NOT required to provide any unloading assistance. If you are not experienced at handling large awkward items such as towers, antennas or amplifiers, please obtain properly trained people to assist you. 

Customer shall bear all applicable federal, state, municipal or other governmental tax.

 

Damage Claims

If the package appears to have obvious damage by the shipper, immediately tell the driver and refuse shipment, if a package looks suspiciously damaged, you can tell the driver to wait and open it to make sure the contents are not damaged. If the damaged package was left or someone else signed for it, there is a grace period of around 3 days to file the damage claim. Orders made to Interamerican Tech are NOT INSURED unless expressly requested in writing. All items must be inspected at the time of delivery. Any failure to notify Interamerican Tech of a damaged product within 3 days of receipt may forfeit your claim to the shipping company. Interamerican Tech is not responsible for damaged products that are NOT INSURED. The customer is responsible for retaining all packaging material required for inspection by the shipping carrier. Failure to do so may result in denial of your claim. 

Truck Shipments: it is the customer's responsibility to file the claim with the driver at the time of reception of the item. If it is damaged, or you suspect damage, request the driver write "damaged" or indicate "shortage" on the bill of lading provided by the driver. Be sure to have the same notation and the driver's signature on his copy.

 

What is covered in the FREE SHIPPING?

Free shipping is ground shipping only within the continental 48 U.S. States. It is only available for regularly priced items.

 

Standard Continental US Ground Delivery

UPS Ground

All packages are routinely delivered within 3-7 business days. For a more detailed estimation, refer to UPS "Time in Transit" Shipping Map located below for UPS Ground Package Delivery. Please note that these are only approximate UPS delivery times, as provided to us by UPS. We are not responsible for UPS shipping delays. Be aware that peak holidays (Christmas, Mother's Day, etc.) and inclement weather may cause delays. For guaranteed delivery time ask for Express Next Business Day Air or Expedited 2nd Business Day Air shipping. Expedite shipping options are available during checkout if you need faster delivery. You can even get a range of shipping costs and options after you add items to your shopping cart

 

USPS Priority Mail

USPS Priority Mail is the fastest (2-3 Days), most reliable shipping method for light weighted products. Every order is given a delivery confirmation number, allowing you to follow your package via the USPS website. The average parcel spends less than 48 hours (about 2 days) in transit, and deliveries are made every day except Sunday. USPS will deliver to every address in the United States including PO Box, APO/FPO. For lighter and smaller packages, Interamerican Tech Corp may choose to ship via USPS to ensure faster delivery.

 

Tracking Package

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and links to track your order on-line with UPS or USPS. Again, we cannot guarantee UPS/USPS delivery times as the delivery time we receive from UPS and USPS are approximations. 

  

Once the package leaves our warehouse and has been scanned into the UPS/USPS tracking system, we will do all we can to ensure that it arrives without unnecessary delay. However, Interamerican Tech Corp cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen and unavoidable delay while the package is in the care of UPS/USPS. Also, it is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct shipping address. To prevent delays or possibly even extra fees, please provide us with your correct and current address. If there is an address change while the package is on route, we cannot take responsibility if the package is lost or if UPS charges the customer an extra fee. 

  

The UPS / USPS driver delivery person at his or her discretion may choose to leave the package at the door. Interamerican tech Corp cannot take responsibility for packages that are damaged, lost, or stolen after it has been delivered. We strongly recommend that the customer track packages frequently and that there be someone to receive the package when it arrives.

 

International Orders

Free shipping and returns are not available for international shipped orders. Orders shipping to Nigeria, Ghana and Georgia may be subject to additional verification. We will email you if your order is delayed. If an order is refused or returned to us due to inaccurate or incorrect address information or because it was declined or undeliverable, Interamerican Tech Corp reserves the right to retain the original shipping/handling fee and to charge the payment method originally used for costs we incur related to the return of the undeliverable packages or merchandise to us. 

  

Interamerican Tech Corp tries to find the safest, most prompt and effective way to get these goods to you. We use Priority Mail, Express Mail and commercial services such as UPS, DHL and a selection of other delivery companies, as appropriate to the requirements for your order. We do recommend that you consider consolidating your order to minimize delivery charges, as incremental costs of heavier orders are much less expensive than ordering items one at a time. 

  

International USPS packages are not scanned/tracked by the US Post Office. Therefore, if USPS is chosen as a shipping method, Interamerican Tech Corp is not responsible for any lost, stolen or returned packages. This includes any lost shipping costs

 

Delivery times to international locations vary, depending on the country.

A service fee will be added for delivery into certain countries which require Legalization or other special services. These charges will be reflected in our document sent to you confirming your order and requesting payment for that order as our International On-Line Ordering process now allows for us to receive your order and re-quote that order to you with all shipping and handling charges included in the final request for payment document sent to you via email.

Customs fees or other associated Fees your government may requiere for your order. Please be aware that some countries have papework, customs and technical requirements concerning imported items. If you are not sure about what fees, restructions or requirements your country may have, please place inquiries with your Customs, licensing or tax officials before requesting a quote.

If your country requirements for Certifications or Agency Approval such as CE approval, please note that most of the items sold by ITC, are intended for sale and use within the USA and will not have CE approval.

ITC is not reponsible for items rejected at the destination country, Customs facility for lack of agency approval or certification. Items confiscated or rejected, and costs incurred due to these approval or certification issue are not recoverable.

 

International Warranty information

Warranty coverage for the majority of items we sell is valid only in the USA. Freight charges to return items for warranty service, as well as the return shipping back to your international location is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or US import customs duties will apply and will be added to your return shipping bill.

 

Compliance with Laws

Customer agrees to comply with the laws, regulations and requirements of the United States. This Includes, without limitation, the applicable export control and economic sanctions laws, regulations and requirements administered by the Commerce Department's Bureau of Industry and Security and the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control as they may govern the export and re-export of items purchased under these Terms and Conditions. Customer acknowledges that all Products purchased may be controlled for export by the U.S. Department of Commerce and that the Products may require authorization prior to export from the United States. Customer further agrees that it will not make any payment, directly or indirectly, that would cause a violation of the anti-bribery laws of any country or jurisdiction, including without limitation the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act which, inter alia, prohibits certain payments to foreign government officials for the purpose of obtaining or retaining business. The Federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applications on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract); because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program; or because the applicant has in good faith, exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The federal agency that administers compliance with law concerning the creditor is the Federal Trade Commission, Division of Credit Practices, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, SC 20580
